By Road: Harwich is located on the A120 east from Colchester. (Alternatively take A137 to Manningtree and then the scenic B132 following the south bank of the Stour.) Follow the signs to the historic centre. Some parking is available at Ha’penny Pier and more near Harwich Green.
By Rail: Trains run from London Liverpool Street to Harwich. For some journeys it is necessary to change at Manningtree. Ha’penny Pier is within walking distance of Harwich Town Station.
From Harwich Int’l Ferry Terminal: Harwich is connected to the port by taxis and the 20 and 20A bus services.
